A Little Bit About Me
Hello! I’m going to try to keep this terse and raw… I think I come across as friendly, sociable and normal but I’ve a sort of contradictory, perhaps unconventional, nature. I’m fairly liberal and educated but take religious ideas seriously and hold some on faith; I went into academia partly in pursuit of knowledge but also for wealth and power; I care about solving social problems and alleviating human misery but am always excited to think about business ideas/strategy, profit maximization, competition, winning, etc; I’ve ambitious career goals but also put a primacy on family and friends; I don’t dress very impressively but really admire people who do; I know and can get along with people from very diverse social backgrounds; I hold some libertarian-socialist principles; I’m a long-term thinker but am often very spontaneous…

Certain things belie others. I like irony. I appreciate people who aren’t afraid to be themselves but also not eccentric for the sake of eccentricity. I can be goofy, snarky, witty, and I like to try new things. I have really great friends for whom I’d take a bullet (rubber).
